I’m not one for slagging off other peoples work but when I entered a public building, a hospital that had been opened for less than a year and saw the neglect of the blinds, I wanted to share with you my experience.
So there I was walking into A&E after a slight accident. I was drilling, putting up some cream blinds for a customer in Brentwood area, when the drill bit snapped and the momentum of me drilling pushed the remainder into my thumb, between my skin and thumb nail. (oohh arrhh that did really hurt).
After being directed by reception to the x-ray department (to check for any remaining bits of metal drill head) I walked along several corridors all with poorly maintained Vertical Blinds. Now remember this brand new Hospital had not even been open for a year (at the time), the contractor who was supposed to be maintaining this wonderful facility was not bothering with something that was so simple to do.

Blinds look fabulous when they are first installed but over time they will need maintenance. Simple steps can be taken to make sure blinds always look great. Please take a look at out top tips for for keeping your Blinds looking great.
Just make sure when ordering your blinds, the retailer or contract company offer spares or regular maintenance contracts.
Failing that most independent Blind retailers will supply components and spares for both domestic and commercial customers. So whether you are missing some bottom weights on your vertical blinds, or have redecorated and misplaced your roller blinds brackets, most modern blinds are serviceable and for a few pounds replacement parts are available, giving your tired blinds a new lease of life.

Oh by the way after nearly passing out, thumb under the cold tap and head in the clients toilet, I continued in pain and managed to fit the customer blinds without spilling any blood on their lovely cream blinds or cream carpets. Pro
